1) When color matching, the same type of dye should be selected to facilitate the control and simplification of the dyeing process. (2) The dyeing properties of dyes, such as directness, dyeing rate, and dyeing fastness, should be similar to facilitate the control of color light. Otherwise, the color light after dyeing may vary, and the color light may change due to different degrees of fading during post processing or use. (3) The number of dyes used for color matching should be minimized to facilitate color control. (4) Master the principle of residual color. Residual color refers to the characteristic of two colors having mutual attenuation. If a blue with red light is considered too heavy, a small amount of red residual color (green dye) can be added to reduce it. However, it is important to note that the principle of residual color is used to adjust the color brightness, which is only a minor adjustment.
