The main component of fleece is polyester fiber (polyester), its benefits are high strength, good elasticity, good heat resistance, good wear resistance, good sunlight resistance, corrosion resistance, light weight, good warmth, not afraid of enzyme moth. Another outstanding advantage is that it is easy to take care of and can be washed.
In addition, fleece can also be compounded with any other fabric to make the cold effect better (fleece and fleece, fleece and denim, fleece and lamb fleece, fleece and mesh cloth composite with waterproof and breathable film in the middle, etc.).
Process:
Cloth → dyeing→ dyeing vats with hair raiser→ dehydration→ drying→ section→ bristles→ combing→ shearing→ shaking→ finished product shaping → into inspection → packaging → storage.
Notes
1. The dyeing and finishing process and parameter design should consider maintaining the shape of hollow fibrils as much as possible to avoid the shrinkage of the fiber cavity, otherwise it is difficult to reflect the difference between special-shaped hollow fibers and conventional fibers.
2. When designing the process parameters of each process, it is necessary to ensure that the fleece has a thick feeling and fluffy effect, increase the still air layer between the fibers, and improve the warmth, light weight and soft effect of the fabric.
1. Dyeing
Special-shaped hollow polyester fiber fabric adopts high temperature and high pressure dyeing, dyeing temperature is generally 120~130 °C, in the case of ensuring color fastness requirements, try to use 120 °C dyeing, the holding time should not exceed 30min, reduce the phenomenon of fiber shrinkage due to high dyeing temperature and long time. During the dyeing operation, the cylinder capacity should not be too large, try not to exceed 80% of the cylinder capacity, and avoid the cloth being stacked in the dyeing cylinder for a long time.
2. Add hair-raising agent
The method of adding hair is divided into shaping and adding hair raising agent and dyeing tank adding hair raising agent. The dyeing tank with hair raising agent is impregnated with hair raising agent at room temperature, the advantage is that the cloth body is small and relaxed when adding hair agent, and will not change the shape of the special-shaped hollow filament, and the additive has a long time for fiber action, relatively uniform, high production efficiency, so the use of dyeing tank plus hair raising agent.
3. Bristles
The bristles are made of mechanical straight needles to support the flat cloth surface, and the bent needle (starting needle) gradually grasps the fiber layers on the terry, and constantly hooks and pulls the loop yarn to loosen the coil yarn to form independent fluff that is feathered and covered on the surface of the fabric. Due to the continuous hooking of the curved needle, the fabric shrinks longitudinally and horizontally, the cloth body is thick, it is not easy to shed hair, the fluff is fluffy, and the added value of the fabric is improved. The bristle adjuster should pay attention to the tension and hair rate (that is, the speed of the curved needle), the size of the tension determines the length of the hair, and the hair rate determines the thickness of the villi.

The faster the needle covering speed, the looser the tension, the faster the needle starting speed, the higher the hair starting rate. Conversely, the tighter the tension, the lower the hair rate. After a predetermined shape of special-shaped hollow polyester fibers, the space between the fibers is large, and the tension of the bristles is looser than that of conventional fleece, and the bristles can be lightly brushed. The bristles needle cloth adopts curved needle bristles with low density and good elasticity, which easily hooks and peathers the hollow fibers, reduces the chance of elongating and pulling the hollow fibers, and reduces the loss.
4. Comb
The semi-finished product after the bristles is combed and straightened by the needle roller on the combing machine, and the inverted hair stands to comb off the broken hairs in the villi, so that the fluff becomes fluffy and straight after combing, so that the hair length after shearing is consistent, and the grain is easy to grain.

The tension of sections A, B and C is adjusted to stick the fabric flat on the carding machine tray to ensure uniform combing, and the tension is generally only fine-tuned. Combing rate is the main factor in combing regulation, the higher the comb rate, the heavier the comb, and vice versa.
The gap between the special-shaped hollow polyester fibers is large, and light combing can meet the requirements, reduce the degree of elongation and pulling off the hollow fiber, and straighten and fluff the hollow fiber.
5. Shearing
The plush fibers on the surface of pile fabrics after weaving, untwisting or bristles are of different lengths, and it is necessary to cut the fluff short to become erect and neat short hairs; Or cut the long hairs together to make the suede flat. The length of the shearing directly determines the size of the rocking particles, the longer the hair, the larger the particles, the fluffier the shaker style, the more still air content in the special-shaped hollow polyester fiber, the better the warmth.
Therefore, the production of ultra-fluffy special-shaped hollow polyester fiber fleece, shearing and leaving hair is longer, and the sheared floating hair is less, reducing the shearing loss. However, the shearing and leaving hair should not be too long, otherwise there are too many floating hairs on the cloth, and the wool surface is uneven, which will make the particles produced after shaking the grain blurry and unclean, affecting the beauty. When shearing, according to the thickness of the cloth, adjust the angle of the triangle knife and the round knife, so that the cut fluff is upright and without lodging, so that the fluff has free space to entangle and contract with each other when shaking the grain, forming full, fluffy particles, otherwise the particles produced are more flat and not fluffy.
6. Shake the grain
Shaker grain is cloth in the granulator through mechanical flipping, hot air blowing, so that the fluff and fluff are intertwined, granulated, shrinking.
At present, the granulator is divided into two types: tensionless granulation drum and jet continuous pellet anti-shrinkage machine.
Tensionless shaker granule barrel is a traditional grain shaking method, after shearing to cut the cloth head, shaking the grain all by manual holding cloth, cloth, high loss, labor-intensive. The tensionless cranking drum is heated by steam, dried by hot air, and cooled by cold air.
Jet continuous crank anti-shrinkage machine is hot air heating and cold air cooling. After shearing, there is no need to cut the cloth head, and the cloth is directly sent to the jet continuous grain shaker through the guide wheel, and the cloth is circulated and rotated in the pellet shaker, and the hot air blows, oscillates, and rubs into particles.
The shaker barrel is heated with direct steam to the fleece, and its temperature cannot be set according to the process requirements, and the high temperature will shrink the special-shaped hollow polyester fiber, reduce the hollow volume, and affect the hollow structure and the fluffiness of the rocker. The hollow fiber is suitable for the production of adjustable temperature jet continuous granulation anti-shrinkage machine.
7. Finished product shape
When the shaped shaped hollow polyester fiber, the tensile tension should be small, which reduces the probability of narrow hollow pipeline and hollow wall adhesion of special-shaped hollow fiber due to stretching, and avoids the fluffiness of the rocking style due to excessive stretching and lint phenomenon. The finished shape of the shake cloth should not be shaped by the roll, otherwise it will affect the fluffiness of the shake grain style.
